BAUMA 2010 After-Show Report - ONE GROUP FITS ALL: CONCENTRATED TII GROUP POWER ON A 1,500 m2 STAND
25.05.2010
The heavy-duty and special vehicle manufacturers SCHEUERLE, NICOLAS and KAMAG presented an array of innovations for almost every transport task at this year's Bauma. A spacious 1500 m2 stand, with a 38 meter long Repower rotor blade floating above it, provided the venue for the presentation of new product developments as well as an entertainment programme. The SCHEUERLE-KAMAG K25 and K22 were premiered along with the InterCombi Power Booster, solutions for challenging construction machinery transport, the new SPMT Generation 4, vehicle technologies for transporting wind power plants and much more besides. TII’s heavy duty vehicles also enjoyed a great deal of success at this year’s 2010 ESTA Awards, which took place in Munich on April 22nd.
“For the TII Group, which represents the combined activities of the heavy-duty and special vehicle manufacturers SCHEUERLE, NICOLAS and KAMAG, Bauma is one of the most important trade fairs in the World. We have been exhibitors there for many years and once again increased the size of the stand - this year to three times that of 2007” explained Dr. Axel Müller, CEO of the TII Group. “As in previous years, Bauma 2010 was a great success for us. The TII Group’s new product developments were received very positively by both existing and potential customers as well as by the trade press. We were able to keep in touch with existing customers, cultivate new relationships and sign new contracts. We were particularly pleased to be able to take orders for our unique new product, the InterCombi PowerBooster (PB), both before and during Bauma. The InterCombi PowerBooster (PB) will, for instance, soon be able to provide the necessary traction required by very steep slopes, even in the mountains of South America. In addition, we also received international orders for the new K25, even before its official market launch. There were also an especially high number of enquiries about our new product developments in the field of wind power plant transport. We are very satisfied. Unfortunately, not all international customers were able make it to the fair due to flight restrictions. However, in order to reach those customers who were not able to come to Munich we will, for instance, once again have a stand at Bauma China in Shanghai in November this year as well as at ConExpo in Las Vegas at the beginning of 2011.”
„Our main aim this year on our 1,500 m2 stand was to present the TII Group’s many innovative new product developments and enhancements to a wide national and international audience.“
Alongside many series products, the TII Group, world market leader in the transport of heavy loads, also offers its customers the right customised solutions for every challenging transport task. Once again, the staff at SCHEUERLE, NICOLAS and KAMAG have met these demands with their new developments:
