[Apprenticeship at SCHEUERLE
SCHEUERLE sets standards in vocational training.
Apprenticeship has always played a major role at SCHEUERLE and is a central part of the company policy. For years, SCHEUERLE has been totally committed to its obligations to train staff and is today regarded as model company in Baden-Württemberg. We count on young, qualified personnel. During the versatile apprenticeship at SCHEUERLE the apprentice gets prepared perfectly for her/his future career. Besides basic knowledge, special SCHEUERLE know-how is taught.
To get practical experience the trainees not only learn in our special workshop area, but also work in in various departments. In addition, there is even the possibility to put their knowledge into practice on overseas construction jobs or during international exhibitions.
SCHEUERLE Fahrzeugfabrik has approximately 350 employees at the moment and more than 20 apprentices in three different fields:
- construction mechanic - specialising in equipment technology
- mechatronic engineer
- industrial clerk
Numerous certificates from competitions adorn the walls of what is known as the 'Traditionszimmer' and testify to the commitment on the part of the young trainees and the high level of training. Creativity, initiative and the ability to work on your own are basic components of the SCHEUERLE training.
Each year, the trainees manufacture works of art made of steel, sheet metal and cut-out wastage in a bid to discover and encourage their creativity. Today, these 'sculptures' not only adorn the garden and offices at SCHEUERLE, but are also highly appreciated by the shareholder Mr Otto Rettenmaier.
